When Edward Filene attended the Estes Convention in Colorado where the Credit Union National Association was formed in 1934, he was surprised to find that some attendees had written songs about the credit union movement fit to popular tunes. Filene loved the songs and recorded the lyrics to many of them in his journal, reprinted here.
